I bought this grill for my family about 5 months ago, and have yet to experience any major issues. Despite a few other reviews, the plates are incredible easy to remove/replace, clean up is a breeze, and the food only burns when we neglect the grill (this rarely ever happens). When we first purchased it, we did have a bit of a learning period, but that was expected. We decided to order the grill because we live on the second floor of a house and can't have an outdoor grill. We do everything we can to eat healthfully and realized how convenient "grilled" food would become with this purchase.

I'm very physically active, and eat A LOT. Despite my healthy appetite, this grill is perfect for myself, my fiance, and our five year old. It fits perfectly on the counter when we cook with it, and stores very easily in the pantry when not in use. We've found it's perfect for bacon, sandwiches, cheese burgers, dinners, and many other foods.

The reason we wouldn't give this grill a 5/5 is because the food doesn't always seem to cook evenly, I have found the non-stick coating has easily chipped off (we don't have a dish washer, so the plates sometimes sit in the sink for a day), and the locks don't seem as secure as I would like when being stored on it's end.

Overall, a great buy. I plan on getting one for my mom so that she doesn't have to go outside during the winter when she wants grilled food.

I just used my grill for the first time last night and Im in love. First off, let me say that I followed the tips from the reviewers and they were so helpful. I preheated it for 10mins, the book says 5mins but I wanted to be sure it was hot enough. The timer, although it has no control over the heating on the grill or turning it off was still helpful and handy. The book said to cook the steak 6-8 mins and I left it at 7mins and it was a nice Medium Well. At 8mins it would be Well Done and and 6 would be Medium Rare. The size of the grill held a large rib eye and can easily accomodate two large chicken breasts and some veggies. This grill is best suited for cooking for 2--3 people and does not take up a lot of counter space. Clean up was a breeze, I didnt even take off the plates. I followed the tip of another reviewer and in the booklet that said to use wet paper towels to place between the plates after it has cooled a bit but is still warm. I left them there for a little over 5 mins and it loosened the left over food and grease and wiped completely clean! The grill itself felt sturdy and had a looked really nice on my counter. I will see how it does over time and use and update if there are any problems. Oh yeah, and my steak was well cooked and delicious!

I purchased the Kuhn Rikon 6-inch nonstick colori santoku knife for my wife for out of the house pojects like cutting meat, fruit and vegetables at our church. I love the fact that it comes with a sheath for safety reasons. The knife is sharp, retains its edge, easy to sharpen and light. I Gave it a 4-star rating because it's manufactured in China.

Do not fall for the Non-Stick gimmick. The blade is plain glossy painted red steel. There are holes and a little extrusion on the blade but they won't work miracles in making your food stay on the chopping board instead of the knife. All the people in the know about this had told me in scientific detail why a non-stick knife isn't really possible, And I should have believed them.

Once you get that out of the way, it is a decent average knife, I have found the edge to be pretty sharp. I have been using it for four months now. I do however find the handle a little too small for my skinny hand to grip. But the protective case is a nice addition. I use it all the time.

A good machine. Light to handle and efficient in operation. My wife thinks that this 'superior' model is no better than the standard model.

Check carefully on shipping costs when purchasing. Go Vacuuum charged me for shipping and I then received a threatening letter from Federal Express for failing to pay their invoice for shipping, which I had not received. FedEx charge, �15-86, was less than Go Vacuum had charged �24-52.


Hoky PowerRotor PR3000 Sweeper Review by Gr8WhiteNortherner "GWN" (Canada)

I use my heavy Hoover self-propelled vacuum once or twice a week. It does a superb job deep-cleaning and lifting the fibres of my carpets. At all other times between vacuuming I use the Hoky (what a misnomer!!!) for cleanups.

Over the years, I have tried many other types of "mini-cleaners" including several rechargeable and 120 volt. These include stick cleaners and hand-held cleaners, several with power nozzles.

Cleanup varies from poor to adequate with all of these. AND the rechargeable batteries never seem to last very long until they will not hold a decent charge - then the batteries cost as much as the whole cleaner to replace. Also 120v cleaners require a convenient outlet and their power cords to be released then rewound after use. The ones with small dirt containers need to be emptied and their small filters usually need to be brushed off and washed after each use if their (often feeble) suction is to remain effective.

The Hoky is always ready to use and does a first rate job of picking up all regular debris tracked in the house - including pet hair and fur. It works equally well on wood floors, laminate floors, ceramic tiles and carpeting - picking dirt up in one pass and requiring minimal effort to push (unless carpet pile is particularly plush). It will even clean wet floors - instead of a brush, it has a "RotorBlade" (a spindle with rubber squeegees) - which works well for small liquid spills. Emptying the 2 dirt pans is very straightforward; there are no filters to clog and the rotorblade seems to clean itself of hair and fur.

One Hoky and one heavy vacuum (per floor maybe?) is all you need to keep your floors free of dirt and debris at all times with minimal effort. None of the other "mini cleaners" I have used have done a better job AND all of them are less convenient.

Just remember to park the Hoky horizontally (or empty it before parking it) to avoid dumping dirt next time you start to use it. OR wait until the next "unbeliever" needs a demonstration. Just one or two passes and it will all be picked up again.

After reading the description on how much stuff this thing was supposed to pick, I am thoroughly let down. It rolls over everything and spits out 90% of the items out the back side. I bought this because I have two preschoolers that are afraid of the vacuum, and they make a mess with evry meal. This was supposed to be something they could operate to help clean up after themselves, I have to resort to the broom every time. I have owned this just under a month, and am disgusted with it.

I use the gerber multi-tool 600 at work and was lost when my last one was stolen. Having the mag light combo is an added plus. It is a sturdy, well made versatile tool that opens with a flick of the wrist. The led flashlight is a nice small size but bright. I only wish the pouch holding the tool and flashlight was a bit smaller.

The Multi-Plier is as described and works great. The locking mechanism on the knife and other tools is nice. I also like that the saw blade is just a standard jigsaw blade. You can easily change it out for whatever type you need, and replace it when it gets dull.

The flashlight however needs some work. For starters, it's not a Mag Light as described in the description, it's a Gerber brand light. It is an LED light, but its pretty cheaply made. I'm still looking for the on switch. You just loosen or tighten the batter cover to turn it on or off.

This product works very well to organize slides. The only negative is that the slide trays are not made of metal but of a pliable plastic. Otherwise it would be a 5* product. I hope the trays last as long as the well-constructed metal case. As far as I can tell, the product is manufactured in America, which is very important to me.

I had gotten the Little Tikes table from a friend of mine, and it didn't come with an umbrella. So I decided to order one online, and am so glad I did! It fit perfectly and was a really cute blue color. I would recommend this umbrella to anyone! Great buy!

I would like to return this product. The picture clearly told that the umbrella fits in a Little Tykes outdoor table set. But when we received both, it did not fit. Table looks good ( took for ever to install- bad design). But the umbrella is sitting there unused. I'm very dissapointed. So are the kids.

I ordered this umbrella to go with the Little Tikes table that we already owned. It was advertised as being the umbrella that went with the specific table. When we tried to set up the umbrella, it did not fit into the hole on the table. We had to use a saw to cut out the oversprayed plastic on the table and then use a board and hammer to get the stand to fit into the hole. Now we can not get the stand back out, so we have to leave the stand in all the the time and just attach the umbrella when we need it. It was not at all what I had hoped for, but I suppose it still serves its intended purpose.
