Kuhn Rikon 2836 Review by Hello There
I purchased the Kuhn Rikon 6-inch nonstick colori santoku knife for my wife for out of the house pojects like cutting meat, fruit and vegetables at our church. I love the fact that it comes with a sheath for safety reasons. The knife is sharp, retains its edge, easy to sharpen and light. I Gave it a 4-star rating because it's manufactured in China.

Do not fall for the Non-Stick gimmick. The blade is plain glossy painted red steel. There are holes and a little extrusion on the blade but they won't work miracles in making your food stay on the chopping board instead of the knife. All the people in the know about this had told me in scientific detail why a non-stick knife isn't really possible, And I should have believed them.
Once you get that out of the way, it is a decent average knife, I have found the edge to be pretty sharp. I have been using it for four months now. I do however find the handle a little too small for my skinny hand to grip. But the protective case is a nice addition. I use it all the time.

Received the knife promptly. Incredibly sharp, washes up easily, the knife holder is great for safely storing the knife and protecting the blade. The handle has a good safe feel. A very good knife
Follow-up Have used this knife daily since receiving it. Stays very sharp and is my knife of choice now. It has replaced my more expensive knives that are heavier and thicker. Will purchase another.
